This is AP news minute.

1. Donald Trump is urging supporters in Florida to "Pretend we're slightly losing" as a way to get them to vote. At a rally in Miami, he urged voters to not become complacent. Most polls show a close race in Florida between Trump and Hillary Clinton.

2. Guard Michael Greene turned himself into authorities Wednesday morning. He is accused killing two Des Moines area police officers. Officials say he has a history of confrontation with police.

3. As Iraqi force closed in on the militant held city of Mosul, civilians are fleeing. Many are leaving the areas in and around Mosul, trying to escape Islamic State rule. Some fled on trucks and others held white flags.

4. The Prague zoo has two new editions. The first baby elephants bred in the zoo in 80 years are now on show. Visitors are being asked to help choose a name for them. They can choose from Hano , Nandy or Rudy.
