Quake authorities say a powerful earthquake struck the island of Kos, killing two tourists from Turkey and Sweden. Numerous buildings were damaged, including a 14th century castle.

President Trump’s legal team is investigating special counsel Robert Mueller’s aides and looking for potential conflicts of interest. One Trump’s attorney tells AP the lawyers will consistently evaluate the potential conflicts and raise them when appropriate.

O.J. Simpson could leave a Nevada prison as soon as October 1st. The former football star was granted parole Thursday after serving almost 9 years for a botched attempt to rob sports memorabilia he claimed was actually his.

And a massive central California wildfire has now burned at least 109 square miles, 99 homes and other structures. More than 3000 firefighters were on the job. At last word, the fire was 10 percent contained.
